Lewis Gosling is co-founder and director of StormGlide. He brings a background of senior business support finance experience, local government and third sector support with him. A successful strategist and campaigner, Lewis fuses all of the above into helping to startup StormGlide.

Lewis was elected to Portsmouth City Council and has played a leading role in campaigns to support social care, business support and energy resilience. He has also hosted a series of round table and advisory panels with government ministers and continues to do so.

He is also a co-founder of a mental health organisation and continues to be a leading activist in this area.

Robert New is co-founder of StormGlide. Having worked for The Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt as campaigns manager across more than ten ministerial portfolios, including Secretary of State for Defence, Minister for International Trade and Leader of the House of Commons, Robert brings both political, marketing and creative ideas to StormGlide.

An audio-engineer and music producer by trade, film-director by passion, business leader, campaigns and marketing manager by career, Robert has also founded an ocean and environmental organisation that has helped further UK ‘blue’ interests and protections in overseas territories as well as here in the UK.

Additionally, Robert has a background in campaigning, marketing and analysis. He served for 12 years in local government, and held cabinet roles and campaign director roles. He was awarded the honorary title of ‘Honorary Alderman of the City of Portsmouth’ in 2024.
